VIDEO: GOOGLE STREET VIEW IS NOW IN OUTER SPACE!
Google's Street view has captured 360-degree imagery of roads all over, but there is no limit to travel, so Google decided to take the limit even further and take Street View into outer space.
Google had launched a Street View of the International Space Station and dubbed it as 'Outer Space View'. The imagery was captured by Astronaut Thomas Pequet on a six-month mission and the images include notes with more information on life in the ISS, including how the astronauts eat, sleep and work out.
Capturing 360-degree photos using a camera that floats around in freefall is a challenge on its own, so Google and Nasa teamed up to figure out how to make the mission a success. If you would like to learn more about how Thomas Pequet managed to make the Google Street View a success in the ISS, have a look at the video below!
