GODZILLA WILL TAKE YOUR BAGS UP TO YOUR ROOM NOW

Imagine Godzilla greeting you at the entrance of your hotel, checking you in while a T-rex takes your bags up to your room, just the everyday routine at the Henn-na hotel in Japan.

The hotel is located in the middle of a forest creating a merge between nature and technology, a perfectly tranquil destination to get away from the hustle and bustle. It is also located a few minutes away from the famous Huis Ten Bosch Park, carrying over the theme into the hotel with animated robots and characters.

The Henn-na hotel is made up of a staff of robots and, aside from other guests and the occasional repairman, the hotel is human-less. The hotel aims to create a more efficient system that relies on facial recognition to give the guest access to the facilities rather than carrying around a room key. The cleaning and grounds maintenance is done via remote-controlled robots and all of the lights in the hotels are controlled through motion sensors.

Each room comes with a little robot called Churi chan who is able to inform you of the weather, control the lights, TV and other room settings. Although Churi chan can only understand Japanese for now, it is said his English lessons are going pretty well...

A world where a robot hand controls the locker room and hands out towels to guests sounds like the perfect destination if you aren't a people person!
