The Googleplex is the massive headquarters of the tech giant Google in Silicon Valley San Francisco, California.
Google is one of those companies that offer services we all take for granted on a daily basis. From searching online for whatever is on your mind to navigation, right through to YouTube and even your Android mobile device!
Neighbouring headquarters such as Facebook, Apple, eBay and Netflix, you'll find Google's massive office park, whose name is a play on words: The Googleplex (Google Complex) gets its name from a googolplex, which is a very large number, 1 with 10 to the power of 100 zeros!
Google takes the work environment for its employees very seriously, and offers a stress-free, creative and healthy workspace. Inside you'll find that employees have free access to healthy chef-made breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks every day, a laundry service, gym access with pools and outdoor sporting activities, a massage parlour, free wifi-enabled bus services, free underground parking with electric chargers and, of course, free internet as well!
As much as Google is hated and questioned these days, if you can't beat them, join them! You won't regret it! Oh yes, considering they develop the Android operating system, you may be surprised to see plenty of employees using Apple laptops... Just saying.
