VIDEO: LEGO MEETS GRAND THEFT AUTO

GTA is amongst one of the most popular games out there. Toy company LEGO has delighted children and adults with it amazing versatile blocks for decades. Put the two together and you are sure to create something funny, worth watching and otherworldly.

In 2013, the LEGO City Undercover game was released, which emulates the famous GTA series albeit in LEGO-brick format. A YouTube channel by the name of Nazooka, recreated cool scenes from GTA using LEGO blocks. At first, the LEGO GTA video looks like extremely slick stop-motion work, but as Nukazooka notes in the comments, it's all 3D animation.

The story is simple, blow stuff up, steal cars and run people over, the video includes car stunts, a helicopter ride and a LEGO protagonist dealing with a police stop. It get's really interesting around 2:30 min when the story takes a complete turn-around! The most unrealistic part of it all is the ending, where someone steps on a LEGO minifigure and doesn't fall to the floor in pain. (then again the foot does have a shoe on ;)
