VIDEO: MICROSOFT'S VOICE ASSISTANT GETS TURNED INTO AN ACTUAL HOLOGRAM

The concept Cortana is what the developer, unt1tled, imagined the Microsoft version of Alexa or Google Home would look like if it were to use a holographic AI sidekick form the Halo franchise.

The holographic Cortana appliance uses Windows 10's native Cortana experience and is powered by a Windows 10 device with a 4GB RAM, built-in Arduino used for controlling the platform lights and a portable USB monitor on the top that reflects on 3 panes of mirror glass.

The enclosure itself is a custom design unt1tled designed and he printed a 3D part for each building block for each of the assembly in PLA.

While it is still a working progress at least the concept gives you an idea of what is still a working progress. As you can imagine, since the device is using the native Windows 10 Cortana it can be used not only for knowledge based queries, but also for home automation and music tasks.
