WHY APPLE AIRPODS DIE SO FAST AFTER CHARGING

The Apple AirPods are by far the most popular wireless earphones on the market today and offer spatial audio features and fantastic quality, however, they have one major flaw, that of a really poor battery life.

There are many reasons for this with the main one being that they use really tiny lithium-ion batteries and that is understandable due to their compact size.

However, most people are unaware of lithium battery life cycles and how to preserve a lithium-ion battery as much as possible.

The worst thing you can do to a lithium-ion powered device is charge the device up fully and use it until it stops working and then repeat the charge cycle. This may sound strange as that would seem like what it has been designed to do, however, experts recommend keeping the battery between 40% and 80% to ensure the longevity of the battery.

As it currently stands, we are unlikely to see an improvement on this until there are major advances in battery technology.
