Amazon unveils their brand new security system, a drone that flies in and around your house.

It seems as if Amazon is obsessed with using drones. A few years ago there was a huge hype around the drones that Amazon would use to autonomously deliver parcels, however, due to numerous technical and safety challenges, the whole project seemed to come to a standstill.

But Amazon doesn't give up that quickly! Their latest drone-based project is a home security device that works by deploying a small camera drone when an alarm sensor is triggered by an intruder. The drone will then fly around the inside of your house and lock on to the suspect. You can then live stream the activity remotely.

This all seems good and well, but our thoughts are what if the intruder then simply knocks the drone out of flight? And secondly, what are you going to do besides just watch your house getting invaded?

All we can say is that time will tell. The new Amazon home security drone is an official product and is expected to be on the market soon.
