APPLE RELEASES NEW IPHONE BATTERY RECALIBRATION TOOL

Apple's New iPhone Battery Recalibration tool in iOS 14.5 beta 6, will drastically improve battery consumption.

Apple seems to have responded to all the backlash they received for blatantly throttling older iPhone model's battery power. They say they did this to maximize processing power, but didn't allow users to change this themselves. Now, they've made this system public by introducing a new battery recalibration tool in iOS 14.5 beta 6.

It is no secret that batteries in smartphones deteriorate over time. But, what is very misleading is that the smartphone's operating system is not designed to read new data from the battery, which would give the user a more accurate idea of what their battery percentage actually is. As a matter of fact, your battery percentage might even be way off, depending on how old your phone is.

What Apple is testing now is a new tool in iOS 14.5, which will recalibrate the iPhone's operating system with the battery in order to give the user a much more accurate idea of what the battery percentage actually is.

There has been no official update as to when this tool will be available as a standard in iOS but, taking a guess, it would be around iOS 14.6 to iOS 14.7.
