APPLE SHOWS INTEREST IN BUYING TIKTOK

Apple has shown serious interest in buying the new video-sharing social media giant, TikTok.

With all the commotion on governments banning TikTok in certain countries, and the debate over which other countries might also ban the video-sharing giant, it comes as a bit of a shock that Apple has shown serious interest in buying TikTok.

Over the last few months, however, Apple has shown interest in content, especially around the time of their virtual product launch. Buying over a whole social media platform and brand might be a bold move, but an awesome one nevertheless.

If that's the case, then why doesn't Apple just buy the app? Well, it is more complicated in the sense that Google and Facebook are also showing interest in purchasing the social giant and are currently in mild negotiation with TikTok, which puts Apple in a rather vulnerable position as social media isn't exactly their speciality.

However, regardless of which company takes over the video-sharing social media giant, whether it's Facebook, Google, Apple or someone else, TikTok is most definitely here to stay and entertain us for many years to come.
