APPLE WATCH CAMERA STRAP GOES OVERBOARD

This camera wrist strap for the Apple Watch has gone completely overboard, and the question on everyone's lips is, is it actually useful and necessary?

A Kickstarter project has raised significant funds for a concept wrist strap for the Apple Watch that incorporates two cameras!

Sounds pretty cool at first, but what is the point of it? First of all, you're most likely going to have your phone with you and, if you own an Apple Watch, you have an iPhone which has one of the best cameras in any smartphone, especially the iPhone 12.

This camera watch strap has an 8-megapixel camera on the side that also is capable of shooting 1080p video, and another backwards-facing selfie camera that shoots 2-megapixel photos.

The issue that we spot is that, first of all, the camera Apple Watch strap is incredibly bulky. There is no word on its water resistance rating (if any), and the image quality at those resolutions will be substantially lower to that of an average smartphone – which will inevitably be in your pocket anyway.
