If Tesla brought out a smartphone, could it compete with the big phone players like Apple and Samsung?
Tesla, The Boring Company and SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk, has officially been crowned the most wealthy person in the world, largely due to these success of his innovative technological corporations.
There has been lots of talk and conspiracy around Elon Musk bringing out a Tesla-branded smartphone but, whether or not this will ever happen, will it be able to compete with the big-time mobile phone players such as Apple and Samsung?
During a discussion around this with Marques Brownlee and Patrick Bet-David, a few good points were brought up.
First of all, bringing out a smartphone is not the easiest task in the world, especially if you were to develop a competitive product in an ever-changing market. But, on the other hand, Elon Musk has already been doing exactly that in other, and arguably more, competitive markets such as the automotive industry.
Most people don't know the CEO of companies such as Samsung, Nokia, BMW or even Sony. But for some reason, we all know Elon Musk and that might just be to Tesla's advantage if they ever decide to introduce a smartphone.
