HOW TO TURN ON EMAIL READ RECEIPT IN GMAIL

Want to know when someone has read your email? Here is how to turn on read receipt in Gmail.

With popular messaging applications, such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Signal and Telegram, that allow you to instantly know whether or not someone has read or opened your message, why can't the same be done for Gmail? Well, stress no more as this is exactly how you get it done...

First thing you want to do is open up your browser of choice. For this example, we will be using Google Chrome. Next, you want to head over to the top right and click on the "customize and control Google Chrome" button. Then, scroll down to "More Tools" and then click on "Extensions". Once the extensions window opens, click on the top left menu button, then at the bottom, click on "Open Chrome Web Store". This will direct you to a new tab. Then, in the search bar, type in "Mail Track" and click on install.

The Mail Track extension has both a free and a paid subscription option, choose your preference and proceed.

Once this process is complete, try sending a mail, and notice the similar double tick read/delivered icons now available in Gmail.
