Instagram has proven to be a very powerful tool for business exposure, networking and selling products for brands all around the world but one feature has remained a so-called 'hidden gem' that you can only access in certain conditions and that is the custom link feature.

If an Instagram account is set to a business profile and has reached over 10,000 followers, you'll be able to create custom site links in your Instagram Stories, but Instagram has just announced that as of next week this feature will be discontinued!

What Instagram is going to replace custom links in stories with is a sticker that users will be able to share custom links in. Even better is that users and accounts that make use of this sticker links feature is that it doesn't have to be exclusively a business account and profile, it can be a private one as well and there is no minimum follower limit either!
