NEW BIOMETRIC CREDIT CARDS

Samsung is teaming up with MasterCard to develop a new biometric credit card.

The concept of a credit card has been around since the 1950s and, quite frankly, hasn't changed much since.

In more recent times, however, people tend to use their bank cars far more often than cash payments. And, on top of that, most people also use the tap and go feature for convenience sake.

But in times like today, more and more people are becoming increasingly safety conscience. Anyone can either steal or find a bank card and potentially use the tap and go feature as they please, even though most bank cards have a spending limit on that feature before a pin is required.

But now, Samsung and MasterCard are working on a new and innovative way to both have the convenience of the tap and go system whists maintaining a very high standard of security. They're developing a new credit card that has a built-in biometric scanner.

This may very well become the norm in bank card technology in the near future.
