SAMSUNG TROLLS APPLE ONCE AGAIN
Samsung and Apple have always bumped heads, now Samsung Trolls Apple once again with its marketing.
Brand wars have been going on for decades, although nowadays its a little more risky to blatantly rip off a company, but there are still smart ways to do it without it backfiring.
Apple has been notorious for ripping off brands such as IBM, Samsung, Microsoft, Blackberry and even Nokia. But this time around, Samsung has trolled Apple once again.
One of Apple's most infamous advertising slogans was their "Think Different" campaign, which in itself was a troll to IBM's "Think" marketing campaign.
Apple launched the iPhone 12 roughly the same time as Samsung released their Galaxy Fold 2 5G smartphone. Apple repeatedly claimed that their new iPhone was a revolutionary product, but aside from a few features here and there, the product is exactly the same as the previous version, and the aesthetics has striking similarities to the iPhone 4 and 5 generations.
Samsung then launched a TV commercial that showed a signboard of their new Galaxy Fold 2 5G with the text, "Think DIfferent". Then, a graffiti artist sprays a line through "Different" and replacing the text with "Bigger", then he takes out the brand new Galaxy Fold 2 out from his pocket, unfolds the massive smartphone and takes a picture of the advert.
