SPACEX INCREDIBLE SPACESUIT TECHNOLOGY
Take a look at this in-depth breakdown of the spacesuit technology developed by SpaceX.
At the launch of the Dragon Crew Mission on May 30th 2020, the world got its first video of the incredibly sleek and modern design of the interior of the Dragon spacecraft, which was developed by SpaceX.
The high-tech futuristic-looking spacecraft showcases the next generation of space travel missions. Furthermore, the SpaceX Dragon crew members, Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken, were pleased to know that they will be the first astronauts from SpaceX to test out the incredible newly designed spacesuits in space.
At first glance, you might think that the SpaceX spacesuits are something straight out of a sci-fi movie, with no resemblance to the traditional spacesuits used by NASA. These new SpaceX spacesuits allow the 3D printed visors to open up fully when safe to do so, without removing the entire helmet. The suits are made with a special material called Teflon, which is fireproof to further protect the astronauts in the unlikely event of a fire. The gloves are easily removable and are leather padded at the fingertips so the astronauts can operate the touchscreen controls.
The overall design is much more comfortable and far less cumbersome thanks to its sleek design.
