THE 4 NUMBERS APPLE WON'T LET YOU ENGRAVE IN CHINA
Apple engraving has become very popular amongst customers that allows them to express themselves, get creative and personalise their devices to make them stand out from the crowd!
However, depending on which country you're from, there are a number of words that have been filtered out and rendered "unusable" with China having the highest number of filtered words and even a series of numbers that are not allowed to be engraved onto your Apple devices.
China has banned the use of 8964 in sequence as it refers to the Tiananmen Square Protests which took place in 1989, on the 6th month on the 4th day, hence 8964.
Furthermore, Apple customers may not engrave words such as politics, resist, wave of democracy, human rights, to name but a few...
So if you're ever planning on taking a trip out to China and want to treat yourself to a new Apple product, maybe just keep in mind what you can and can't engrave!
