Ever since 1997 Gran Turismo has been making gamers feel like racing drivers. The franchise started on the original PlayStation had has followed through with appearing on PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3. Now it is returning again to the PlayStation 4 with the Gran Turismo Sport that will land on the console this October.
The Gran Turismo Sport is going to be a little different than the previous versions. There will be just 140 cars available in the game, that instead focuses on teaching gamers about race craft and sportsmanship. Drivers will be eligible for an FIA Gran Turismo Digital License from their local cal club or national motorsport body, which will hold the same value as a real-life license if the relevant local racing body chooses to honour it.
The game launches on October 17 in the US priced at $59.99 for the Standard Edition and $69.99 for the Limited Edition, which comes with an extra eight cars to kick start your virtual garage, a huge in-game credit balance and unique packaging. So be ready to grab the Limited Edition Gran Turismo Sport when it launches.
