As silly as it may sound, it is true. Humans have gone and created a "protective bubble" around earth by using very low frequency radio transmissions. For long humanity have been shaping Earth's landscape, but now scientists are shaping the near-space environment as well.
The very low frequency signals are transmitted from the ground stations at huge powers in order to communicate with submarines in the deep-blue ocean.
The video, released by NASA on Wednesday, explains and visualizes how the radio waves are traveling into space and interacting with the particles surrounding Earth which is influencing these outer-space particles and their motion.
With further research to be done in the future these low frequencies may serve as a way to remove excess radiation from the near-earth environment. Watch the video to find out more about this "Space Cocoon!!"
