VIRGIN HYPERLOOP FIRST PASSENGER TEST

This is the first passenger test run of the impressive and futuristic Hyperloop by Virgin.

Who comes to mind when you think of the brand Virgin? Richard Branson of course! However, to your surprise, he didn't come up with the initial concept of the Virgin Hyperloop, it was actually envisioned and started by no other than Elon Musk. And, when you come to think of it, it sounds like something right up Musk's alley!

But other tech companies took the concept and ran with it. In fact, there are six companies who are currently developing their own hyperloop transportation systems already!

The general idea of a hyperloop system is to transport people across large cities and neighbouring countries within a matter of minutes, without even leaving the ground. The expected average speeds a hyperloop could reach is around 1,223 km/h! To put that into perspective, the largest commercial aircraft, an Airbus A380, averages a cruising speed of around 1,000 km/h.

In this video, you get to see the first passenger test run of the impressive Virgin Hyperloop, which is shaping the future of transportation.
