IPHONE 12 LAUNCH DATE CONFIRMED

Apple has officially confirmed a launch date for the brand new iPhone 12 – October 13, 2020, 10:00 AM PDT.

Apple fans were obviously incredibly excited to learn about the new devices and software that were unveiled in September 2020. This included the next generation Apple Watch, iOS 14 as well as the new iPad, but left them rather unsatisfied with not releasing the new iPhone, which is usually announced at the same conference.

There was no talk by Apple as to if the new iPhone 12 was even going to be launched in 2020, but considering the current circumstances, most understood why.

On the 7th of October, an Apple invite banner went viral on social media which displayed an Apple logo surrounded by 3 translucent orange rings. The text for the advert said: "Hi, Speed. Please join us for a special Apple Event from Apple Park. Watch it online at apple.com. October 13, 2020, 10:00 AM PDT".

Although it is just speculation at this point, the "Hi, Speed" ad campaign could refer to the 5G iPhone 12, as well as fast wireless charging or the new iPhone 12 processor.

Be sure to tune into the live event on October the 13th 2020, 10:00 AM PDT.
