NEW APPLE M1 MACBOOK AIR, PRO, MAC MINI AND OS BIG SUR
Apple released their brand new M1 Silicon Chip, which is included in the new Macbook Air, Macbook Pro and Mac Mini, as well as a brand new operating system called Big Sur.
On November 10th 2020, Apple held yet another product release event for the year. They called it "One More Thing", and have lived up to the promise of their very own Silicon Chip being available in Apple products before 2021.
Tim Cook hosted the live stream event, and started off by introducing the Apple M1 chip. This is not only an Apple exclusive, but is their most powerful computer chip ever fitted to a Mac.
But, what's the use of a new chip without a computer to run it on? Apple launched the brand new M1 powered Macbook Air, Macbook Pro and the Mac Mini, all of which make use of some brand new features. These include touch ID and, of course, the brand new Apple operating system which they call Big Sur, after the longest and most scenic stretch of undeveloped coastline in the United States.
