NEW IPAD MINI TO BE LAUNCHED LATER THIS YEAR
As Apple approaches yet another major product launch, which includes the new iPhone 13 range, as well as a new chipset for the iPad range, talks around a new iPad mini are in full force.
We have not seen a new iPad Mini since 2019. That was the 5th generation which featured the Apple A12 Bionic chip, 64 or 256GB storage, an upgraded 7.9-inch Retina Display with support for Apple Pencil as well as Bluetooth 5.0.
The iPad Mini range has been known for sharing its internals with the iPhone, and the current 5th generation is no different with its Apple A12 Bionic chip and 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
However, Apple is rumoured to be releasing a new iPad Mini which will feature the same chipset and RAM as the upcoming iPhone 13. This will put it just below the latest iPad Pro in terms of specification, processing power and performance.
There is no doubt that a new range of iPads will also be launched later this year.
