The Apple iPhone 12 was launched at the end of 2020, and features some incredible tech such as LiDAR, the fasted processor ever fitted to an iPhone and, of course, an even greater camera system. But, around six months later, on the 21st of April 2021, Apple decided to add an additional colour to the iPhone range, this time in purple!
The internet blew up moments after Apple showed its new purple iPhone 12. Fans absolutely lost their minds over it, mostly thinking it was the most amazing thing Apple has ever done.
However, we don't really understand why. Not necessarily because it's purple, but because the iPhone 11 was also available in purple...
This new purple iPhone 12 is somewhat different though. It doesn't share the similar washed-out watercolour-like purple that was available in the iPhone 11, it's a slightly deeper and more saturated purple.
Inside the box, there is not much difference at all. You'll still find the regular USB Type-C to Lightning cable, sim card ejector tool as well as an Apple sticker.
