VIDEO: DRUG FUELED GAME 'WE HAPPY FEW' HITS RETAIL NEXT SPRING!

The psychedelic survival game 'We Happy Few'; which has been available in early access since 2016, will get a retail release next year. The developer and Gearbox Publishing announced that they will release We Happy Few on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on April 13, 2018.

We Happy Few has been available on Steam Early Access and Xbox One’s Game Preview Program for $29.99. The retail release will cost $59.99, but players who purchased an early access version of We Happy Few will receive the full game at no additional cost.

The retail release of We Happy Few will feature a full-length story campaign with three playable characters and "more than 250 unique encounters" according to a release. 

Compulsion Games release the new update for 'We Happy Few' which adds new Joy effects, an improved user interface, reworked AI and more. It is the final major update for early access version of the We Happy few game. 

Come early next year, the price will probably seem unremarkable to people hearing about We Happy Few for the first time, but for right now it's bound to be a stinger—although full credit to Compulsion Games for being open and up-front about it.
