VIDEO: ELON MUSK'S HYPERLOOP SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES ITS FIRST TEST RIDE!
The Hyperloop is a new way of transportation and for people to move from city to city that travels at airline speeds, but for the price of a bus ticket. The Hyperloop is energy-efficient and safe to travel on and is now one step closer to becoming a reality, making the trip from LA to San Francisco in just 50 minutes.
The Hyperloop One completed the first full-system Hyperloop test, sending a vehicle down a vacuum track at 70 miles per hour, this took place at the company's test track in the Nevada desert on May 12. The Hyperloop One is now on the verge of the complete systems test at the DevLoop site in the desert. They have installed almost 1,000 feet of the linear motor in a 1,640-foot long tube capable of reducing the air pressure down to the equivalent of 200,000 feet above sea level. The top speed of the Hyperloop is around 250 mph!
In the video, you can see how the Hyperloop took its first test ride and see how to the whole concept of Elon Musk's Hyperloop One came together.
