VIDEO: KFC'S VR TRAINING VIDEO IS FINGER-LICKING-FRIGHTENING!

KFC says it'll use the Oculus Rift game to "supplement its robust, multi-step employee training program." Colonel Sanders will take you on a journey to teach you his recipe in this VR KFC training video! KFC is making employees play an Oculus Rift initiation game which teaches them how to make finger-licking-fried-chicken. It turns the process of cooking chicken into an escape room game; Sanders literally won’t let employees leave the room until they’ve mastered making the brand’s form of greasy goodness.

In the game, employees will have to play as a pair of disembodied hands to demonstrate how to master the five-step cooking process – inspecting, rinsing, breading, racking and pressure-frying – all the while being cajoled by a cackling Colonel.

The idea is to show that through the VR cooking process it should just take 10 minutes, as opposed to the 25 minutes.  So perhaps the idea here is to speed up the training process (and to avoid potentially wasting product).
