VIDEO: THE GOPRO HERO 6 IS HERE AND IT SHOOTS SMOOTH 4K AND SLOWER SLOW-MO!
The new GoPro Hero 6 is now available worldwide, offering a better image stabilization system that eliminates the "shakey footage". Much like the preceding units in the Black series, the Hero 6 Black comes with a 4K camera that shoots 60 frames per second. The new image stabilization system is really just a digital effect that process footage frame by frame then crops them to keep the image centred, thus the unit is able to minimize the shaking footage.
The GoPro Hero 6 also has a better dynamic range, allowing users to take snaps at different sunlight conditions (even in low light). As for the touchscreen at the rear part of the device, users will be able to utilize the tough-to-zoom feature. The camera can also shoot slow-motion clips at 2.7K at 120 frames per second and the device can even go into super-slow-motion with 240 frames per second at a resolution of 1080.
The Hero 6 Black also features better Wi-Fi radio that now triples the transfer speed; users will be able to move files from the GoPro app for their smartphone in no time.
The latest features, from stabilization to slow-motion effect, are powered by company's latest processor, the GP1. By adding their own chip, GoPro seeks to differentiate itself from a growing number of manufacturers. You can learn more about the latest GoPro Hero 6 Black in the video below:
