WHY THE NEW APPLE MACBOOK PRO HAS A NOTCH IN THE DISPLAY

Apple recently released their brand new MacBook Pro that features the most powerful performance ever featured in any MacBook Pro predecessor, as well as a higher resolution display and bigger screen size.

On top of that, Apple designed the bezels to be far thinner as well, however, in doing so, they had to leave a notch in the screen where the front-facing camera is which has sparked up some controversy in the tech world as to why Apple would do this.

However, with that said, Apple most definitely has their reasons. The notch has been specifically designed to only cover the work area menu bar and no other program so this will not affect the user experience in any way. Furthermore, this also allows the user to take more advantage of the bigger screen size that is more effective now that the menu bar doesn't compromise even more screen space as in the previous MacBook Pro versions.
