WHY THERE ISN'T A WEATHER APP ON THE APPLE IPAD

Are you perhaps shocked at this title? Rushing to grab your iPad and check it out for yourself right now? Well, you'll be surprised to know that the Apple iPad doesn't have a weather app like the iPhone does. Furthermore, we previously published an article on why the iPad doesn't have a calculator app either and that sparked up some conversation as well and this one is for very similar reasons.

Apple has purposefully designed their digital ecosystem to take preference over which applications are most likely to be used with which device, for example, most users would use a Macbook or iMac to edit videos in Final Cut, therefore you will not find Final Cut on an iPad or iPhone for that matter.

Apple's data shows that most people would use a calculator and weather app on the iPhone and iMac to a far greater extent than the Apple iPad and therefore hasn't prioritised optimising that kind of app for the larger iPad display.
