VIDEO: LG V30: NEWS AND RUMOURS
LG's V-series smartphones have evolved into the company's flagship due to the interesting and unique features and in many cases, stronger processors. The last model, the V20, arrived in late 2016, and its successor, the LG V30 will be announced by the end of August.
The LG V30 will continue the tradition of featuring a good camera. LG tells us the V30’s wide-angle camera will have a f/1.6 aperture, the largest available on a smartphone yet, and a special crystal-clear lens for spectacular and highly realistic images.
The f/1.6 aperture will let 25 percent more light into the lens than a f/1.8 aperture, meaning it should be unrivalled in low-light performance. LG’s Crystal Clear Lens is made from glass rather than plastic and will improve the colours in your pictures, resulting in more natural, vibrant images. The LG V30 will launch on August 31 and the name of the smartphone is accompanied by a line "Lights. Camera. Action" which is a clear hint that the V30 will have a great camera setup.
After the V30 is official, customers in South Korea will likely be able to pre-order the phone first, beginning on September 15, according to Android Authority. Pre-orders for the phone will go live in the U.S. on September 17, and globally on September 28.
