7 TIMES PEOPLE TOOK THE SIMS WAY TOO FAR

We can all admit we have done something messed up while playing The Sims, the feeling of being in charge of the little defenceless characters that we create gives us a crazy god complex.

If you have ever felt guilty about what you have done in this game wait until you hear the stories of these seven instances when people took The Sims way too far and gave way to truly horrific scenarios.

The Cult

To start a cult in The Sims is one of those crazy ideas that might have passed many people's minds, but you do not put it into motion. A Sims player, named RoaneF, was curious to find out how such scenario would play out – so he created a very charismatic Sim, who would invite other Sims to his house for dates and the lock them up in the basement.

Due to being such a charming guy, he managed to induce some kind of Stockholm syndrome into his prisoners and make them trust him enough to consider them their friend and leader, messed up, so no questions should be asked.

The Serial Sex-murderer

The Sims is a very fertile land for those with deviant ideas, so one player put together a plan to kill all the old people in town by banging them into utter exertion. The woo-hoo moment in The Sims does not only look impressive with fireworks, but it also is a very energy consuming activity, so someone could actually die in the act of doing it. This player took the advantage of this Mechanic with the twisted final goals of exterminating the elderly population of an entire town.
