Apple held their iPhone release event last night (13th October 2020), but revealed more than just the new iPhone 12 range.
Held at Apple Park, Apple released some exciting new devices that, in the typical Apple fashion, is groundbreaking in the mobile and tech industry.
Apple's first product release was yet again another music playing device, not the iPod this time, but rather another intelligent speaker called the HomePod Mini. The HomePod Mini was specially designed to produce the best possible audio quality from a relatively small and compact design. Furthermore, the HomePod Mini has integrated Siri voice commands and allows use from third-party apps such as Amazon Music.
Now, for the moment everyone was waiting for, Apple launched the iPhone 12 range. The Apple iPhone 12 comes in four new versions, ranging from the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro and the mighty iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The new iPhone 12 range features the fastest Abionic chip, called A14, which is the first smartphone chip built on 5nm process technology. It is the fastest processer ever in a smartphone, with up to 80% faster processing than the iPhone 11. Furthermore, the iPhone 12 also features twice the amount of pixels than the previous generation.
