APPLE'S MYSTERIOUS NEW IOS 14 COLOURED DOTS

With Apple's new iOS 14 update, you might have noticed new mysterious colourful dots appear in the top left of your screen, but what are they for?

Apple released their brand new operating system called iOS 14, which was released in early October 2020, and with that came some brand new applications. There's a language translation app as well as a variety of brand new features, such as the adaptation and customisation of Apple widgets and a whole new home screen layout, to name but a few.

However, just shortly after the iOS 14 release, iPhone users started noticing mysterious coloured dots appearing and then disappearing on the top right-hand corner of the screen, and had no idea what they are for or what they meant.

Sometimes, when you are using or have just used an app, you might notice a green or orange dot appear on the top right of your screen. The green dot indicates that an app is using or has just used your camera and the orange dot indicates that an app is using or has just used your microphone.
