CHECK OUT THESE TOP 10 WEAPONS OF THE FUTURE

Bored? Well, check out these top 10 weapons of the future.

Human beings have been at war for one reason or another forever. As controversial as conflict can be, the ingenuity and invention of new weapons are astounding. Yes, they may be created to cause harm, but these inventions can be repurposed to benefit humanity.

For instance, tanks eventually led to vehicles that could traverse the challenging landscape of the arctic circles.

Yes, the zombie gun that fires low-frequency radiation to affect brain cells probably doesn't have a purpose other than death. But, who knows what ingenious invention could come from it in the future. And, yes, the zombie gun is a real thing, courtesy of the Russians.

This is just one of 10 weapons of the future on this list that will make your jaw drop. Military forces are constantly developing both offensive and defensive weapons. The guys at The Infographics Show on YouTube have taken a closer look at what we can expect to see on the battlefield soon.

Take, for example, the High Energy Liquid Laser Area Defense System. Or HELLADS for short. This system uses a 150kW laser powered by a lithium-ion battery that will destroy incoming projectiles. Think missiles, mortars and artillery shells fired from the enemy. The HELLADS can be either mounted to a fixed structure or mounted to planes and tanks.

Other mind-blowing weapons include guided bullets, electro-optical camouflage, an invisible stealth bomber and more. To find out more about these weapons of the future, then check out the video below. Some of them will amaze, while others will scare you to death.

Let's just hope that one day, this technology will be used for good.
