HAVE YOU SEEN THE LIVE ACTION FALLOUT 76 TRAILER?
As we are nearing the release date of Fallout 76, Bethesda has released another piece of marketing material for the game – which focuses on a strange piece of the internet.
The thumbnail of the trailer and the first few seconds are an obvious homage to a modified gif from The Sound of Music where Maria von Trapp is spinning around while wielding akimbo Uzi submachine guns.
Aside from being a nice visual, dual wielding has never been possible in modern Fallout titles. Hopefully, this is a tease that it will be possible in the final release, but we wouldn’t count on it.
This is confirmed again in the description of the trailer, stating that “The Appalachian Wasteland comes alive in the official live-action trailer”.
As for the trailer itself, it is relatively short and doesn’t seem to add any new information about the title.
The part with the Deathclaw has some speculating that you will be able to keep the creatures as pets or tame them in some way, but we're sure that was just a funny scene added in for the hell of it.
This trailer apparently aired earlier this week on US television during an American football game, but now it's available on YouTube and you can watch it below.
This ends with a group of player characters standing way too close to a nuclear blast, something that will play a big part in Fallout 76 as the world can be nuked at will not just to destroy enemies and other players, but to harvest loot.
Have a look, and now we wait...
