HERE ARE SOME OF THE BIGGEST ANNOUNCEMENTS AT E3 2018
At the 2018 E3 announcements, Sony decided to keep their keynote very focused. The show was almost entirely focused on four upcoming games that we already know about, The Last of Us Part II, Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, and Insomniac’s Spider-Man.
The show did, however, offer deep looks at some excellent games, and some of these are pretty damn gruesome. Sony managed to sneak in a couple of surprises as well. If you missed the show you can check it all out right here.
DEATH STRANDING'S GRUESOME NEW TRAILER
It is hard to believe, but the latest trailer for Hideo Kojima's mysterious Death Stranding shows the actual game for the first time. Alas do not worry, it still features all the weirdness, and there is no shortage of babies.
THE FIRST GAMEPLAY TRAILER FOR THE LAST OF US PART II
We have known that a sequel for The Last of Us has been in the works for some time, but Sony finally decided to show how the game will actually play. After a tender opening starring Ellie, the trailer made a dramatic shift to the brutal action you can expect from the game. It is definitely a meaty video, you can check out nearly 12 minutes of gameplay in the video below (so worth it).
GHOST OF TSUSHIMA IS ONE BADA** SAMURAI GAME FROM THE CREATORS OF INFAMOUS
Sony also showed off some nice footage of Ghost of Tsushima, the next action game from Sucker Punch, a studio best known for the superhero adventure Infamous. The footage looks absolutely gorgeous, and it has what appears to be a satisfying blend of combat and stealth. However, there is no release date, just yet.
SPIDER-MAN SHOWS OFF ITS WONDERFULL WEB-SWINGING WORLD
Insomniac's new Spider-Man comes out in September, which is not too far from now. If you cannot wait, there is a lengthy look at the most exciting part of the game: featuring web-swinging.
