HOW IBM IS STILL A MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY IN 2021

IBM was a computer technology and product industry-leading company from the 1970s right through to the 2000s, absolutely dominating the market. They don't appear to be around at all anymore, right? So, how is it that they still manage to secure over $70 Billion annual revenue?

Well, IBM started at a time where the computing market was not saturated at all with competition. As a matter of fact, their only concern was what Apple was doing at the time... but, as we all know, that ended in disaster.

Fast forward to 2021, and IBM is still a huge company, regardless if you don't see the brand at all.

The reason for this is that IBM has completely shifted their focus. They don't manufacturer IT products anymore, now they invest heavily in cloud and hybrid cloud services, both in the public and private domain. IBM has also taken a huge interest in AI processing and the development of data in the medical industry, as well as in natural language processing.
