NETFLIX LAUNCHES FIRST GAMES FOR SMARTPHONES

The worlds most popular video series and movie streaming subscription service, Netflix, is now expanding its offerings and is now entering the smartphone gaming industry.

Netflix has officially released a few games specifically for smartphones that are both quite similar to games that are currently available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, but users don't have to pay additionally for them in terms of pay to play, in-app purchases, no adverts and no additional subscriptions. Netflix users simply sign in to the game via their Netflix account and can gain access to all the games Netflix offers now for smartphones at no additional cost to that of their Netflix package.

The smartphone games Netflix has now released include:

  • Stranger Things - 1984
  • Stranger Things 3 - The Game
  • Card Blast
  • Teeter Up
  • Shooting Hoops

Netflix entering the smartphone gaming industry might prove to be highly beneficial to the streaming service as it will convince people to stay with Netflix and not stray off to another streaming service to consume content.
