Nikola Tesla, although not recognised at the time, was one of the greatest scientific minds of all time.
Nikola Tesla was born on the 10th of July 1856 in Croatia.
Nikola Tesla had an incredible ability to remember, this was largely thanks to his mother who played memory games with him as a child. Thanks to these practices, he was able to learn, speak and write 8 languages.
Nikola Tesla had a love for science where he spent a lot of time on. He was also a pioneer in inventions such as the alternating current, the Tesla coil, remote control, violet ray, three-phase electric power, neon lamp, vacuum variable coil and the wireless telegraphy and many more.
In an interview in 1919, Nikola Tesla shed light on his brilliant ability to invent in his mind and had this to say:
"I do not rush into actual work. When I get an idea I start at once building it up in my imagination. I change the construction, make improvements and operate the device in my mind. It is absolutely immaterial to me whether I run my turbine in thought or test it in my shop".
