POSSIBLE LIFE DISCOVERED ON VENUS
An unexpected result from a scientific experiment shows signs of possible life in our very own solar system, on Venus.
Just as we thought 2020 couldn't surprise us anymore, results from a scientific experiment carried out by astronomers made headline news on the 14th of September 2020 as they have found evidence that supports possible life on Venus.
The results from this experiment have raised so many more questions than answers, for example, how could Venus support life to begin with? And how excited should we be if we find life there and elsewhere in the cosmos, regardless if it's just a self-replicating molecule or more advanced organisms.
For decades, Mars has been the go-to planet to invest in to both search for signs of life and explore the deserted world to see if it could sustain our own well being for future generations.
Venus, however, was actually taken seriously by the Soviet Union, and they managed to crashland an unmanned spacecraft on the alien planet but, due to the scorching temperatures, the craft was disintegrated soon thereafter.
It wasn't until a few days ago that a network of scientists discovered a molecule in the atmosphere of Venus that could only be caused by living organisms, which prove possible life on our neighbouring world.
