REMEMBERING GRANT IMAHARA

With the devastating and sudden loss of a great mind, we will always remember Grant Imahara.

Grant Imahara's passion lied in electronics and robotics, and he was arguably one of the best in the industry which, inevitably, paved the way for his success.

Grant Imahara competed in the famous TV series Robot Wars and BattleBots from 1999 to 2002. Grant was best known for being a co-host of the Discovery Channel series Mythbusters alongside Adam Savage, Jamie Hyneman, Kari Byron and Tory Belleci. Kari, Tory and Grant also hosted a scientific Netflix series called The White Rabbit Project but, unfortunately, only featured one season.

Grant Imahara also worked as a technical special effects supervisor, robotics specialist and animatronics engineer in movies such as Star WarsEpisode 1 - The Phantom Menace, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, A.I.: Artificial Intelligence and Van Helsing. He also worked on multiple instalments in The Matrix franchise, including The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions as well as The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

Grant Imahara played a vital role in inspiring younger generations to pay interest in science, engineering and robotics, it is devastating that he is no longer with us, however, his legacy will live on.
