STARLINK DISHES HAVE A FURRY PROBLEM TO DEAL WITH

Elon Musk's satellite internet service called Starlink reached over 100,000 terminals shipped in 2021 alone providing thousands of individuals and businesses with ultrafast wireless internet access.

However, a new minor problem has arisen for the Starlink satellite dishes. Each dish has the ability to give off a little heat and for good reason. In areas where a lot of ice and snow is experienced, the built-in heater generates enough thermal energy to melt the ice and snow to eliminate as much interference as possible but in doing so, this extra heat has proven to be very attractive to cats who are looking for a cosy and warm place to cuddle up on and the concave shape of the Starlink dishes together with a bit of heat is the ultimate chill-out zone for cats who live in these cooler climates.

Although this is seen as a minor issue at the moment, cats have been proven to drastically drop signal quality to those using Starlink internet.
