TESLA OWNS THE WORLD'S LARGEST DIE CASTING MACHINE
Tesla takes a completely different approach to other auto manufacturers when it comes to making their bits, and owning the world's largest die casting machine helps a lot!
Elon Musk has made it very clear that he always finds the most efficient and automated methods to develop his products, whether it be Tesla, SpaceX or even elements of the Boring Company.
Similar to the little toy scale diecast model cars, Elon Musk implemented a similar construction and assembly method for the Tesla factories. Large panels and parts are diecast in very much the same manner, just far larger in scale, and the outcome has proven to be highly efficient, producing consistency throughout their range of products.
However, as innovative as this might seem, there has been a lot of criticism around it, with speculation around safety concerns. People are wondering why no other automaker does the same thing, so surely they know something Tesla doesn't. But, regardless, no such claims have ever been proven or debunked.
But to give you some peace of mind, Tesla now has broken all safety records with the new Model Y.
