THE BLACK SONY PS5 IS FINALLY HERE!

The long-awaited Sony PS5 is now available in a black edition.

Arguably, the most anticipated gadgets of 2020 and 2021 are the Sony PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles, and both are exceptionally hard to get hold of as the global demand was seriously underestimated by both Sony and Microsoft.

A company called SUP3R5 is customising the brand new Sony PS5 with an all-new retro-inspired black finish for both the console and the controller, and includes a colourised logo and buttons on the controller. It is still unclear whether or not you'll have to supply your own console or if you buy one directly from them already customised, but at $600-plus, it's assumed they supply the console. Also, they'll only be supplying 304 units, so best you get your order in soon.

What we do know for sure, however, is that the black finish is absolutely gorgeous and arguably better looking than the standard Sony white.

Back in the day, you had the option of buying a PlayStation 2 directly from Sony in either Black, Silver or a rare Blue, but it seems now that Sony is only going to be offering their new consoles in one standard colour finish, which means you'll have to use a third-party company to repaint them for you.
