THE NEW CANON EOS R3: THE PRO'S MIRRORLESS
Canon recently announced the Canon EOS R3 professional mirrorless camera and, unlike other mirrorless systems, this one might be the convincing factor for professional photographers and filmmakers to finally ditched their beloved DSLR systems forever.
The all-new Canon EOS R3's most striking feature is the fact that it's the first ever mirrorless camera to be built into the bulky body of a DSLR. This is rather controversial as, one of the main benefits (according to many), is the fact that a mirrorless is far lighter and more compact than a DSLR, regardless of the model. However, for the professionals, a sturdy and rather bulky camera offers benefits in its own right, such as far more stabilisation when shooting handheld, as well as having a built-in vertical grip which, naturally, has the ability to store two lithium-ion batteries rather than just the standard 0ne.
The Canon EOS R3 features and specs:
- Full-Frame Stacked BSI CMOS Sensor
- Eye Control AF, Dual Pixel CMOS AF
- Subject Tracking with Deep Learning
- Continuous Shooting Up to 30 fps
- Integrated Vertical Grip
- Weather-Sealed Construction
