THE NEW PS5 CONTROLLER FOR VR

Sony has announced a completely new design with additional features for their PS5 VR controller.

Sony is on fire with their new accessories for the highly anticipated PS5 launched at the end of last year. First, it was the redesigned PS5 controller, then the PSVR2, and now the brand new PS5 VR controller!

Sony has revealed its new PS5 controller for VR gaming and its orb-shaped design looks like something purely out of science fiction!

These new innovative VR controllers by Sony feature haptic feedback and finger touch detection, which detects finger motion without the user even having to physically press down on a button. This allows for more natural finger motion and gestures during the gaming experience. On top of that, gone are those ghastly colourful balls that were on the previous generation of controllers, used to help the console detect where the controllers were. Instead, Sony has designed an orb-like ring around the VR controller which have sensors in them for the main PS5 console to synchronise with.
