TIME TO DELETE WHATSAPP? HERE ARE THEIR NEW TERMS OF SERVICE
Due to the new and rather forceful terms of service for WhatsApp, is it time to delete it and use another messaging service?
WhatsApp has been the world's leading instant messaging service for well over a decade now, right after other messaging services, like BBM (BlackBerry Messaging), died out.
In 2014, Facebook bought over WhatsApp for a staggering $16 billion and, thus, Facebook took complete control over its future updates and, of course, its terms of service.
In the last update of WhatsApp, Facebook has renewed its terms of service for their instant messaging app. WhatsApp users now have to agree to allow Facebook to gain access to your communications and personal information with no option to opt-out of the agreement. This has of course caused great concern for millions of WhatsApp users globally.
Tesla and SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk, has openly mentioned it, and tried to convince people to use alternative options, such as Signal as it's a far more private alternative.
Is it time to delete WhatsApp? Quite possibly.
