VIDEO: THIS MIGHT BE THE WORLD'S FIRST FLYING CAR

The Lilium Jet is the latest entry in a growing field of what might become the future of flying cars.  The jet – which is not really a jet - can take off and land vertically like a helicopter and fly like an airplane, making it convenient for cities because it does not need a runway.

It picks you up wherever you are, and plunks you down exactly where you want to go. Still, Lilium has a long way to go before you get to see electric planes flying around. The further you want to travel; the bigger battery you require.

The first flight is good news, but the lilium jet still needs to standout above all the rest.
