WILL YOU REGRET BUYING THE XBOX SERIES S?

Will you regret buying the Xbox Series S over the much more powerful Series X?

Both Microsoft and Sony have released fully digital versions of their brand new consoles, but just because it doesn't have a CD ROM doesn't necessarily mean they are then the same spec in all other respects. So will you regret buying the Xbox Series S?

Well, first of all, we have to point out the major differences between the Xbox Series S and Series X. The Series S will not support 4K, but rather quad HD, or 1440p at 60 FPS and not 120 like in the Series X. Furthermore, you will have no CD ROM, which means you can only play digital games. This isn't a problem at all, but if you own games from the Xbox 360 and older, that's it for playing those games. Furthermore, the Xbox Series X takes backward compatibility very seriously and has auto resolution upscaling and auto HDR features for older games, but the Series S doesn't. But, if this is your first console or first Xbox, or even if the Xbox One was your first, you will have no problem switching to the Series S over the all-powerful Series X.

To conclude, the Xbox Series S is, without a doubt, a beast of a gaming console and is still better than the Xbox One X. Yes, you'll lose out on a few features here and there in terms of specs and some backward compatibility restrictions, but we highly doubt you'll regret buying the Xbox Series S over the Series X.
